Joe McElderry continues to show that he gets better and better. At the Recent Glam in The City 2010 event in Glasgow, Scotland, Joe looked very confident and happy on stage singing live. Joe never held back on the big notes and really gave a sensational perfomance. This makes us all the more impatient to hear news of the Debut Album and a Solo Tour. Go Joe!!

Joe McElderry posted on Twitter that he couldnt believe how the Uruguay Linesman failed to give Frank Lampard’s goal as England exited to Germany. Joe seemed excited as the Match progressed then showed he was disappointed.

In a strange spooky way Joe will be even more freaked now that his Official Website has disappeared and is now showing as a GERMAN Sony site.

I wonder if Joe is getting the hump with Germany. Do you know what has happened to Joe’s Official site? Were you as angry as Joe at the World Cup match between Germany and England.

Joe McElderry has told the Sun Newspaper that he is about to Fly out to Los Angeles to start work on his Debut Album. Joe has been delayed a number of times and some of the British Press had started to label him a flop despite winning X Factor and Headlining the X Factor Arena Tour and appearing at Radio 1s Big Weekend.

Joe also told The Sun that he has a few surprises up his sleeve for the Album and that he cannot wait to get started.

What type of songs would you like to hear Joe Sing on his First Album?

Joe McElderry popped back home to Newcastle to help open a new Teenage Cancer Hospital with The Duchess of York, her two daughters and lead singer of The Who Roger Daltrey.

The unit was designed with teenagers firmly in mind and includes a recreation room, kitchen, study, parents’ room, complementary therapy area and chill-out zone plus internet access, TV and music.

Joe McElderry will perform at this year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend at Faenol Park, Bangor, Wales.

The winner of X Factor 2009 will play a Live Lounge session, located in a tent in the back stage ‘guest area’, at the free weekender.

Losprophets, Florence and the Machine and Example will also play recorded sessions on Saturday (22 May) to be broadcast throughout the day.

Joe McElderry showed he was more than a Power Ballad singer when Jamming backstage during the Sell Out X Factor Tour that has just ended. Joe sang a version of Lady Gaga’s Telephone with Jamie Archer on guitar. This new side to Joe McElderry is great to see for all Joe’s fans as he prepares to make his Debut album in the States.

Not content with what many saw as a bullying campaign against Joe McElderry last Christmas. Rage Against the Machine have again had a go at Joe McElderry’s career as they seek to whip up a storm for their “Free” gig in the UK this year.

Jake Who, their lead singer spoke to the Toronto Sun about the band’s plans to have Su Bo at the Concert. Naturally RATM couldn’t help but have another dig at Joe McElderry to gain yet more publicity off of the back of the X Factor winner.

Jake Whoever said “I don’t think anybody has heard anything of that Joe guy since 
Christmas, but we have nothing against him. The truth is Simon’s 
shows occasionally produce talent. We love Susan Boyle, she is 
hot … To show there are no hard feelings we would like her to 
perform with us onstage this summer. She is a great vocalist and we 
would love to perform Killing in the Name with her. Everybody knows 
her in the U.S. and she can add her vocals to anything. It would be 
an honour for us”

Joe took time out on the final day of the X Factor Tour to blog from Glasgow Today, posting on the official site he blogged the following to his fans.

Hi everyone,

We’re in Glasgow and it’s the last day of the tour – I can’t believe it’s nearly all over. I’ve had such an amazing time over the last few months and it’s been great to visit so many cities and meet so many of you! I also wanted to say thank you so much for all of my Easter eggs…I’ve received so many at the hotel! Happy Easter everyone!
