My review of Joe at Alan Titchmarsh.

Left work just before 2pm to get to the BBC studio’s for 3pm. For a change I didn’t get lost, I even found the studio with very little assistance, (well directions from Jen and Josie, but thats it honest, I didn’t even have a map).
I saw Jenni sitting down outside the studio and a few others I know was there, Rochelle, Emma etc. Josie came over about 5 minutes later. We were all chatting for a while, reading Joe’s Heat Mag album review etc.
Around 4pm they started letting us in, the ladies from DS hadn’t arrived, so we were trying to contact them.
Waiting outside the studio doors, I was getting butterflies. We were told we were late going in as the Singing pensioners were rehearsing and really nervous, aww bless.
Then they let us in the studio, it was alot smaller then I imagined and me, Josie and Jenni sat on the first row, the stage was literally like a foot away.
The ladies from DS made it in, but were at the back of the studio on the upper level bit.
The warm up guy was really good actually, he looked like a younger better looking Dale Winton and he kept telling us not to call him Dale Winton.
Alan then recorded a pre-recorded interview with Robson Green, two geordies on one show, woop.
Then back to the warm up guy, he told the dj to play some tunes and told us to sing along, only they really old fashioned, like Elvis or something, not surprising considering how old the audience are lol. Then Emma requested they play YMCA, now that got us singing and dancing lol. Then it was the countdown for the show.
So Alan reappears, he did the bit about halloween treats with Ainsley Harriot. We thought Joe would be singing next, but in the advert they said Eamon Holmes interview would be first and DO NOT SCREAM WHEN JOE APPEARS ON STAGE, as it would be inbetween Eamon’s interview, while they got Joe’s set ready.
We were all watching Eamon’s interview, then I looked out the corner of my eye and was like big surprise Joe was standing right in front of us, but we couldn’t scream so I just stared at him. One second he was standing there all serious in position, then he started jigging about, looking at the crowd, smiling, waving. He looked in our direction a few times and smiled, not sure who he was smiling at though.
Finally Eamon’s interview was over and Joe was introduced. We were screaming, clapping etc. Joe sang brillantly and I love the lil movements. At one point, I think in the chorus just before “I can’t tolerate”, Joe looked at me for like a few seconds, I was smiling and singing along and like Josie said he kind of moved his eyes at me or something, can’t really explain. I was sitting there thinking, was Joe just looking at me, kind of like saying hi with his eyes. LOL I turned to Jen and Josie to see if they had seen it, I looked to the women by the side of me thinking, maybe he was looking at her or the old duck behind me, although I did think that her and grumpy hubby didn’t seem like the biggest of Joe fans, infact they were two people who shouted out the warm up man when he asked who was a strictly fan over an X Factor fan.
After Joe’s performance, Jenni and Josie looked at me and said, Joe was looking at you then. So I realised Joe did look at me and was like excitementspasm.com. wink
It went to an advert and Joe was going up to the crew hugging them and went up and said hi to Alan, before leaving the stage.
Next up was the singing pensioners competition. Joe came on speaking to the Pete guy and Heather Small and took his place. He looked all cute and smile was out on display.
Warm up man Stuart asked what type of judge Joe would be, Joe said a nice one. Then Stuart said, are you going to be like Simon or Louis, Joe said, noooooo like Cheryl haha.
At one point Stuart mentioned The Wanted and said they were talented, Emma shouted out not as talented as Joe, Joe turned round and giggled.
I was watching him practically the whole time the people were performing, you could see Joe was really getting into it, he was writing notes down, even though he had no say in the final decision. Joe’s comments to all the contestants was so cute.
At one point he was looking in our direction again and I caught his eye, I did think surely he couldn’t have been looking at me again, but Jen and Josie said he was. tongue wink
Pete who was sitting next to him kept saying your fans are crazy or something and Joe was laughing, he looked over and waved in Emma and Rochelle’s direction, I think he did that a few times.
After another advert it was time for the interview. Again we were all cheering when Joe was introduced, then the silly bugger tripped up on the stairs, I burst out laughing but felt bad for poor jojo, but he made a joke of it too so it was fine.
Really lovely interview, loved watching all his facial expressions and mannerisms up close, so cute. Oww when Joe said about not being in it for the fame, which we already knew.
Next it was time for the results of Singing Pensions, and Sue won, rightly so I think she was pretty damn good. That is where the show ended and Joe went up to congratulate Sue on winning, despite being called away Joe went up to Tom and Ivie, I think it was to say well done, hug, shake hands etc which was sweet, then he up to say bye to the other judges and Alan before leaving the stage.
Joe waved to the ladies from DS on the last row, which made them happy. wink A lady asked for an autograph but I think he pen run out, Vib was dragging him off, so he had to leave.
We had to stay a bit longer for Ainsley Harriot to cook a hotpot, it was a pre-recorded bit so Alan went off to get changed.
The food smelt gorgeous and overall the show was better then expected, of course Joe’s bit was amazing, but the show was alright actually and the warm up guy was really good.
Now here I am, not long got home. I haven’t seen the footage back, so have no idea if I was shown. Mum reckons my head was shown, others have said they saw the back of my head on twitter too.
It was a good show and well worth going, a very short queuing time in the grand scheme of things.
The End!
