Over the past couple of months, I have written to Joe twice, once just after he came out, offering my support and totoal admiration and telling him not to allow himself to be used by anybody.
Yesterday, to my utter surprise, through the post, arrived an envelope with my own handwriting on it.
Obviously, I had enclosed an SAE with my letters, in case there was ny chance that Joe would reply, never really expecting him to have the time to.
Inside the envelope was a personally signed picture with a greeting from Joe.
I am ove the moon, I still cannot believe it, what a lovely guy to take the time out to respond to me, with his very busy workload.
i now have to frame it and find a pride of place in my Joe room.
I'm totally ecstatic about it!!!.
I am also gonna frame my lads mag cover and put that in my Joe room if I can find space.
I must be one of the luckiest fans alive at the moment.
On day I intend to meet him and get him to sign my tattoo and then the tattooist will tattoo over it.

Joe could have replied to me quite quickly as I am one gay man, trying to help another and offering some helpful advice.

I can't imagine it being too organized at Modest! I'd imagine he gets 100s of letters a week, and he replies to as many as he can each time he goes to the office, and then when he gets more, they just pile up, so the ones sent at the start, are at the bottom of the pile.. Just an idea anyway, but hopefully you'll get a reply very soon! I think its nice to get it when you least expect it Nice surprise.
