Joe McElderry:  I had such a great long weekend! After finishing recording in Jersey, I flew home for some quality time with friends and family. We had a bbq on Sunday to celebrate passing my college course! Have been trying to think of a title for the album. Any suggestions? I’m now back in London doing lots of press interviews and photoshoots! I’m beginning to feel really excited as it’s all feeling really real at the moment!

Yay! I’ve now got 200,000 fans on Facebook. Amazing! Thanks so much. I’m back in Jersey again today. I pretty much live here at the moment.lol! Yesterday was great. I had a meeting at the label and we chose the album cover!! I also got to catch up with Simon, he had lots of kind words and advice for me which was great. Thanks again to everyone for all the album title suggestions. You’re all very creative! xx

Joe McElderry I'm back safely from Bulgaria (some of you guessed it!). Had such a great time - worked with lots of amazing people and learnt a lot. There were a few sets for the video which was exciting! Hope u all like it. You'll all be seeing it in a few weeks time...x6 hours ago

Joe McElderry Heys guy’s so the time has arrived its time for the run!! I’ve been training lots and getting lots of miles in so I’m hoping I get a good time!! I’m really excited as it finishes right near my house and all the family and friends are going to be there cheering me on! Hopefully I’ll see some of you guys too, give me a shout if you see me! Wish me luck J x

Joe McElderry Hey guys, I had a fun few days at radio 1 and 2 over the weekend - even had an arm wrestle with vernon kay...I lost – not happy about that! How was your weekend? I’m off to the dentist tomorrow for the tooth that fell out....not looking forward to it at all – Ouch haha!!


Joe McElderry Was just wondering, what did everyone think of Judge’s Houses last night? Lots of controversy about it today! I really did luv Gamu, Paije and TreyC but I suppose someone has to miss out. Glad it’s not me making those decisions! What’s the twist?! I’m sitting here thinking heaps about my performance on Sun night…I ...start rehearsals on Wednesday can’t wait – who’s going to tune in!?

Joe McElderry Just came back from the dentist. Had lots of drills and injections - it wasn't nice! I'm currently in my house practising ‘Ambitions’ for sunday night’s performance. I feel like I'm back in the x-factor house rehearsing for the weekly live shows! Though, my mouth is a bit numb today from all of the injections hehe! What you guys all up to today?

So, is this Gamu deportation thing for real? Is it true that she might have to leave the UK? Hope not! Anyways, I wish her all the best whatever the case might be. I’m wrapping up for the day – have done a few interesting interviews today and we’ve organised a few fun competitions for you all which will run in the next week or so….speak to you all tomorrow xx

another great day...did some filming for the x-factor website and met with a few journalists. they were ALL asking me what I thought about Judges Houses...Excitingly, I received my first ever copy of the ‘Ambitions’ single – I can’t believe it will actually be in the shops on Monday – eek!

Hey guys!!! Just came back from great ormond street hospital…So amazing to see all the brave children there. I’m gutted i’m missing all the snow back home - there’s none in london…Has anyone been out sledging?? Getting ready for the Narnia premiere tomorrow! I’m performing in leicester square tomorrow night which is going to be amazing!!! Come down if you’re around. Going home now to rehearse. What u guys up to??
