Joe McElderry has revealed that he would like to try television presenting.

The X Factor competitor told fans of his ambitions during his first question and answer session since he revealed that he is gay.

Asked by a fan if he would present Channel 4’s 5 O’Clock Show, he responded: “I’d love to try a bit of presenting!”

The 19-year-old also confirmed that he will release his debut album in October.

He commented that work on the LP is “going well” and when asked if it had a title yet, answered: “Maybe, but I’m keeping it a secret.”

I think Joe would make a really good TV presenter.  I hope somebody follows this up then we will get to see more of him

I think in the future Joe could do bits and bobs of presenting along with acting.  Joe is such a funny, natural lad, he would be a great presenter, everyone would full in love with him.    Thanks for the link Becca.
