Geri Halliwell booed at Glasgow X Factor auditions...

Geri Halliwell's stint as a guest judge on The X Factor 2010 hasn't been the huge success she hoped.

Geri joined Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell in Glasgow for the first round of auditions on Wednesday, replacing Dannii Minogue, 38, who's on 'maternity leave'.

'I'm really excited, I feel like I am in a new band, we should be Steps or Abba,' Geri announced, but the Scottish crowd didn't warm to her, reports the Mirror.

Geri, 37, said no to a popular singer called Katie, while fellow judges Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh said yes.

X Factor fans bombarded Dannii Minogue's Twitter page with requests for her to return to the show, and some claimed Geri's comments did not make sense.

Pixie Lott, 19, is tipped to be the next guest judge on the show, joining the auditions in Birmingham on 14 June.

I haven't seen any video of it, although it is likely the article will exaggerate things a bit. Still, it doesn't sound like she went down too well I have also heard that Pixie Lott is definitely going to appear at the Birmingham auditions.

Although I think she is always a bit loud and present...I do like her.  

Pixie lot was a 'coach' on the dutch factor..she did a workshop..I thought she was really funny and nice!

I was there at the auditions tonight! Will put pics up tomorrow if I get the chance! Cheryl came upto us at the end and hugged my friend (whos a huuuuge fan!) and I high-fived Simon haha!!

I heard about guest judges being boo-ed, and tonight there was no guest judge.. someone said it was because Natalie Imbruglia was booed so much? I don't know.. thats all I heard!

Because I got up too late, alarm didn't go off/I slept through it, got off at wrong train station and only got there at the time it said on the tickets rather then hours earlier like most people probably did.  I didn't really realise you should get there so much earlier, I had a standby ticket, but was one of the 60 people who didn't get in.

Awwww I was at the show at like 7pm ish.. And my friend got me a priority ticket which guarantees entrance..

There were a couple of talented girls, a girlband, a boyband.. nothing anywhere near Joe's standard.. but I guess they will all improve from their first audition - but still, from the few auditions I saw, nothing like Joe - nothing as good as Joe..etc

Taco, I met her at last years XFactor auditions too But security wasn't tight at all last year.. But yeah, I was soo excited and managed to get some great pics!!
