April 4th – Glasgow

So we started to head up to Glasgow at about 12:30 ish and arrived about 4:15. I’ve got to say, even though I’ve never been to Glasgow before I managed to find the SECC a lot quicker than I’ve ever found Newcastle arena, haha! Anyway me and my Dad waited a few minutes before heading into the arena after the second show had finished. Once we found out which way to get into the auditorium we found our seats. Me and my Dad were in the same block but I chose to sit higher up. The seats weren’t bad at all, they weren’t very close but you could see everyone clearly.  We were all just sitting and waiting for the show to kick off and of course the advert for winning a day with Joe comes on and I just scream really really loudly. I think just about everyone in the block was looking round at me like “what on earth are you doing” followed by a few laughing at me, haha!    I couldn’t hear anyone else that screamed (well near me anyway) so I was just thinking “you lot better be saving your voice for when he actually comes on stage!” lol. About 5 minutes before the show actually started this girl sat next to me and she was like “oh my gosh, you’re a geordie, are you friends with Joe” lol  She was just asking me why I’d travelled to Glasgow to to see the show again and I’m just like, well for Joe of course! 

Right, now the show itself. I think Lloyd has improved and think he has kept on getting better through out the tour. But he was defiantly very very popular here. Louder screams for Lloyd in Glasgow than there was in Newcastle I think. 
While Lucie was singing the middle 8 part of Sweet Child of Mine (“where do we go, where do we go now” ect…) it looked a bit like she got a bit lost on the way to the B stage which was quite fitting for the lyrics she was singing, lol.
Jamie Afro defiantly got most people up and dancing in 'Sex on Fire.'
I think Stacey did very well in all her songs, my favourite would be The Scientist though. 
Jedward were just Jedward, they did seem a bit more lively and energetic (if that is possible), maybe because it was the last show.
Danyl got everyone singing along to Man in the Mirror and Purple Rain.
Now Olly, he was extremely popular as well. He was a bit more, um well, more enthusiastic with his dancing yesterday which certainly got a few girls near me very excited, lmao. 

Finally, Joe! 
As soon as the VT of his journey through x-factor came on I was literally just trying to hold back the tears. All of his songs were amazing as usual. It was so sweet at the end of Love Story though because all of the dancers just completely swamped him and gave him this massive hug on stage!  It just shows how popular Joe must have been with everyone on the tour. The dancers must have loved him to bits.    It felt like Joe had only been on stage a minute or two but he was now performing the Climb. I was just nearly in tears again, thinking about how this was his last solo song there. It was just beautiful and so amazing!
You are not Alone was the performance that really got to me though. As soon as Joe started singing and they showed those clips of him on the x-factor on screens I was really emotional. Ah now I’m nearly crying just thinking about it! Eee I’m a softie, lol. 

I’ve gotta say, it’s been one amazing tour with one massive super star! Everyone did really well, but our own Mr McElderry has showed everyone the true star he is on this tour!

Thanks for the review Jen, I didn't realise you were going to the show in Glasgow.  So emotional going to the last show, would have loved to have been there.  So cute with the group hug with the dancers, i am sure they love Joe. 

LOL at the people asking why you had travelled to Scotland to see the show again, like duh who wouldn't want to travel for miles to see Joe again.

Thanks for posting you review Jen It must have been really emotional going to the very last show of the tour, and I really wish I could have gone to that show like Hubz, I completely LoLd at the people asking you why you had travelled all the way to Glasgow. I mean, who wouldn't travel hundreds of miles to see Joe perform live? anyway I'm so glad you had an amazing time

I heard on someone's Twitcam the whole Joe set   I started listening when the winners journey was on.. amazing!

Oh fantastic, I am so happy for you.  The sound is just incredible isn't it.

the sound?  Well it was with a phone and there was a lot of screaming of course, but it was just special, last concert, like we were there... even my BF loved it

The screaming is very loud so be warned but is worth listening to if you can stand it.

Thank you Jen for writing such a lovely Review.  So sad the tour has ended now though.  We have to look forward to Joe's 1st Album and, of course, his Solo Tour.  It's wonderful to read all the experiences and how much everyone seems to have enjoyed the Xfactor Tour 2009.  Not one person has written to say they didn't enjoy it so, as it appears from all the wonderful videos, it was a great success
