X factor tour coming to Carlisle, Newbury and Newmarket?

I just wanted to ask this because I am rather confused by it. When I went to the tour on Friday, leaflets were given out about some of the X factor finalists coming to Carlisle Racecourse on 25th July. I have subsequently found out that there is something similar happening on 22nd May at Newbury Racecourse and on 18th June at Newmarket Racecourse. I just wanted to know if anyone else knows anything more about this, and whether these events will include all of the finalists who were at the tour? I rather suspect that it may only be a few of them and probably won't include Joe, but I am not sure.

I wasn't really sure what section of the forum to post this in, so if it is in the wrong section then I will move it

I haven't personally heard anything about these extraneous performances at racecourses, hopefully someone will be able to enlighten us.

well I have just been doing some more research on this and it looks like it is Olly, Stacey and Danyl. No Joe unfortunately I don't think.

Hey! I haven't heard anything. But my guess is that he is not going any gigs like this. I think he will be away for most of the summer working on the album. After that, he may have some time off and then will most probably be back to promote the album.
Alexandra (Burke) has spent the last few months around Europe promoting her album, so my guess is that Joe will be doing the same.

My guess is that he may perform on tv programmes to promote the album. Maybe things like GMTV, Friday night with Jonathan Ross...etc.

But if the question is whether they will include Joe, I'd say the answer is no, for now.

Oh I think my mam was on about this earlier. I think we found out basically the same that's been said. So no I don't think Joe would be there but I think Stacey, Danyl, Olly and maybe some others may be there.

Yeah it is a shame. But, on the other hand it's great! He is ahead of the game getting that album done! I'd much rather he was doing the album!

Hi there, I am from Carlisle and it was announced in our local paper a few weeks ago that Olly and Jamie Afro are coming to the Carlisle racecourse in the summer.  Unfortunately, not Joe though.  Hope this helps.  Might be old news now, but have just come onto this site today.  I was at the Metro Arena yesterday for the xfactor tour and have to say it was absolutely fantastic!  Joe was brilliant - what a voice!!  I didn't reckon much of Olly and Jamie on the telly, but have to say they were extremely good live and would recommend you go and see them at the racecourse if you can get tickets.
