Robbie Williams' "Angels" is one song I love very much.  It's hauntingly beautiful, especially because it reminds me of those whom I have loved in this life who have passed on but are still close in presence:

The first time I heard this song I mis-heard the lyrics in the line "I'll be forever thankful...and thought she was singing Daddy not Baby. So,I bought the EP version of the single as a Father's Day gift for my Dad, who I loved dearly, and to me the lyrics sounded very appropriate to how I felt about him. It wasn't until  after he'd passed away that I discovered that Diane Warren had actually written the lyrics for her own father who'd supported her through her early career, and that's why it had always resonated with me!

There are so many I could have picked but most of mine are songs that make me happy.

This is called You're there by Barry Manilow as it reminds me of my grandad as it reminds me that he is always there and always be there.
