Ok, so this is my review. Cheesy Apologies for the length… XD For those who want to know, Joe’s bit starts on paragraph 8. Wink

When we got to the O2 we had to wait a bit for the show to start, so they put on the top 10 worst auditions. I had taken my mobile with me so I wrote on the "Counting and Chat" thread on here that it was about to start, and that I was very excited. Soon the show started, and they introduced all the acts. Joe came on for a very short while and my heart was pounding like mad; I couldn’t even scream! Then he was gone, and I thought “Why is he gone?”, and then I remembered that he was meant to come on at the end. I was a bit gutted because on my way to the O2 I had only been thinking about Joe and how amazing it would be to finally see him, and now I had to wait until the end, lol. I WANTED JOE! But the best came last, and Joe is, obviously, the best. Tongue

Lloyd came on first. He sang “Cry Me A River” and “Stand By Me” later on. His vocals were ok. Actually, they have improved quite a lot. I think he is a lot more confident now than he was during the live shows, because he doesn't have to face any criticism from the judges. At this point I was getting quite annoyed because the two girls behind me kept going on about how Lloyd was “so much hotter” than Joe, and that he should have won instead. They also said something about Joe’s height that made me very angry…

Jamie Afro sang “Sex on fire” and had the crowd singing along in seconds. He also sang “Hurt”, which he sang quite well, and he dedicated it to all of us Londoners, which was cool. Cool As I said before, I can’t really remember the order of things, but Danyl sang “With A Little Help From My Friends” very well. Also, I didn’t know he could play the piano! XD I loved it when Olly and Jamie joined him. You could tell that they are great friends and that they were enjoying themselves. Danyl also sang “Man In The Mirror”. It was good, but I preferred his first performance.

Lucie sang “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “This Is Me”. I would have liked her to sing another song instead of “This Is Me”, but she still sang it well. “Sweet Child O’ Mine” was fantastic; I had forgotten how well Lucie sings that song.

Olly was his usual cheeky self. His vocals were ok, nothing special, but I really enjoyed his performances, especially “Fool In Love”. He also looks better in real life than he does on TV.

Stacey sang “Queen Of The Night”, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and “Who Wants To Live Forever”. “Queen Of The Night” was a bit weird because she was dancing next to all these poles around her which didn’t really suit her, lol, but it was still very good. “Over The Rainbow” was sung beautifully, and when Lucie came on to sing it with her she done it very well too, but I definitely preferred Stacey; she has the stronger voice. Stacey dedicated the song to her little boy Zach, whose birthday it was that day, aww.  The last song she sang was “Who Wants To Live Forever”. That was an outstanding performance, probably the best non-Joe performance for me. I could tell why she was the last girl to leave in the competition. Her voice made everyone listen (except for the two girls behind me, lol) and when she finished she got a huge round of applause.

Oh yeah, and Jedward. XD Well, to start with I spent most of the time crying with laughter during their performances of Ghost Busters and Rock DJ. I just couldn’t take it seriously! They flied and floated about in the air while they hugged each other, and there was a huge Mr Blobby thing that my Jedward-obsessed sister took a very long video of. But yeah, they were a laugh, and I guess that was the point. Tongue

And now, ladies and gentlemen, this is where the review actually begins. This was when the whole day actually began or me. I was there, about to listen to The Voice, about to actually see him from a few meters away. Now, as everyone knows, I am a closet Joe fan, which means my sister was in for a shock, to say the least, lol.

First they showed his journey on The X Factor, of all his performances. I must have watched them each over 15 times, but it didn’t make any difference. There was something about just being there, watching it all, that made me get emotional. My sister said later on that I had tears streaming down my face, but I honestly can’t remember it if it’s true; I just remember having my eyes fixed on the big screen, watching it all before me. When the moment of when the winner was announced came, there were screams coming from all over the audience, but no one could have screamed as loud as me, because I was screaming as much as I would have on the night Joe won it if I wasn’t a closet fan. I had bottled all the happiness in, and now I was letting it all out.

When Joe actually came on stage I couldn’t believe it. I had my hand over my mouth and I was shaking like I had at the beginning of the show. I collapsed onto my chair and then quickly got back up again to hold up my “Long Live Geordie Joe” banner.  A woman was staring at me, but I didn’t care. The buzz was certainly a lot louder when Joe came on than when any of the other acts had. Joe looked amazing, as always. Perfection.

The first song he sang was “Don’t Stop Believing”. You could tell he loves that song and he was enjoying himself, because he just couldn’t stop smiling! He owned the stage and instantly got in the mood of the song. His voice sounds even better when you’re actually there listening to it, and not just on TV. Even those big notes, he just nailed it every single time. There was not one person sitting down during that performance. How amazing is this guy? How can it be possible to not like him?

Then he sang Love Story, which he totally made his own. It proved that Joe can take absolutely any song and make it a masterpiece, not just “slow ballads”. I loved the way Joe chatted to the audience in between parts of the song. He looked so comfortable on that stage, and I felt so proud of him.

It was when he sang “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” that I felt most proud, though. He didn’t just sing it, he performed it, just like the first time he sang it on The X Factor. When I turned around the two girls weren’t talking for once! Instead, they were watching and listening to Joe in silence! I was so, so proud of him, actually shaking with pride.

Both “Sorry Seems To Be” and “She’s Out Of My Life” were sung with such emotion it looked like he had written the songs himself. You just looked at his face and it seemed like the song actually meant something to him. His voice made everyone go quiet and listen. I can’t explain the way he sang these songs any further, you have to hear him sing them live to actually know how amazing he is.

During “The Climb” I saw Joe trying to read my banner. I was holding it at a weird angle, so I held it upright for him to read what it said. He read it and smiled, then kept singing. Honestly, those few seconds I will never forget for the rest of my life. Then, near the end of “The Climb” when he hits those big notes, I started shaking even more, which was very annoying because I couldn’t hold the banner up properly.

Then at the end of the show all the finalists sang “You Are Not Alone”. They sang it well, but when Joe came on again, the response of the crowd was deafening. I went crazy once again, and Olly looked at me and laughed! XD Everyone’s eyes were on Joe, as he sang his bit at the end of the song. I just couldn’t get my eyes off him.

And then, far too soon, the whole thing was over, and all of a sudden I felt very empty inside, because I knew I wouldn’t be seeing Joe again. I still do feel a bit empty now, but I’m still hoping that I might get to meet him one day in the future. For now I’ll just have to stare at his modeling pics and wait for his album. Wink

Oh, and on my way out I saw Stacey’s brother and sister, and her sister was holding little Zach in her arms. They had come to watch the show! I waved at him and he looked puzzled, but he waved back anyway, lol. I couldn’t believe it! 

That’s about it. Thanks for reading my (incredibly long) report! Fingers crossed it didn’t bore you too much. Wink
