My Joe weekend!!

Okay, so I decided to go up to manchester this weekend to see some friends, and also try to see Joe once again whilst I was there.

Saturday

After arriving, I went straight to the MEN Arena with some friends, where I heard that every so often, one of the contestants may come out the back to sign some autographs etc. I was standing there for quite some time, and then Joe came out. I was really happy because I hadnt seen him since around December.

He walked down the line of people (behind a gate), and signed autographs, had pictures, etc, and when he saw me, he stopped for about 5/10 minutes while we just had a bit of a catch up. It was really lovely that he remembered me, and was happy to stop to chat to me even when other people were waiting for pictures..etc.
Anyway, as he knew I was from London, he was just asking like who I was there with and who I was staying with and just other things like how I was, etc... He also asked if I'd been to the tour yet. When I said I hadn't, he asked me when I was going, I said next Saturday, and he asked what time. I said 7.30, and he then said "ooh lovely, well im sure i'll see you then".

I then handed him my camera through the fence, and he took a picture of us.



As you can see, my hand is on his head, trying to move his head out of the way because he blocked me out the picture haha.


He then took this one, which was much better!


He then said that he had to keep going and signing stuff for other fans but that he would see me next week. On his way back, he stopped and took another picture of me and him haha, but that one didnt come out too well either. In fact, I look gross in it so I havent posted it LOL.

Anyway, so that was Saturday done. I was really happy that he'd remembered me and that we'd had a chat. My friend that I was with had seen him for a moment earlier that day and couldn't speak to him - she was just like crying and mumbling!


Sunday

We left the house early, at like 8am and headed into town. We had no idea what hotel it was, as people had said it was all different ones, trying to confuse us. We got a taxi to the City Inn hotel at about 9, because that was one of the hotels we had heard about it being.
Luckily, it turned out to be the correct hotel. The security were very strict about where you could stand outside the hotel though!!
There were quite a lot of people gathering outside the hotel, it wasnt too bad though..
The first contestants to make an appearance were Jedward. They walked through the lobby and into the breakfast room.
A bit later on, more contestants were gathering in the hotel reception.

It was only when the tour bus had arrived that Joe came outside, and he was surrounded by security who were telling him to keep walking and not to stop.

He saw me standing near him, and stopped!! He just took my camera from my hand and took a picture of us! I thought it was really sweet of him to stop, as he was told not to by the security! He like smiled at me and then said he had to go but he'd see me next week!!

Anyway, here is the picture that he took:
