Hi, I’m one of those people who drops in when I can to read your posts though I find it hard to keep up as you write so much (in a good way!). I’ve been tempted to finally break cover because last Sunday I went to the matinee performance of the tour in Manchester and witnessed something really amazing (not just the tour …)

I travelled to Manchester on the train from Yorkshire to avoid driving. Coming out of the MEN at 5pm everyone was talking about the concert, not surprising perhaps, but what was surprising was that the buzz kept going. Waiting at Victoria Station for the Metro train, then on the train back to Piccadilly Station, all over Piccadilly Station itself (I had some time to kill waiting for my train!) and then all the way back home (about an hour and a half journey).

And everyone was talking about … Joe … and how amazing he was!!!!!

And I really mean everyone. Young, old, those in-between (I include myself in this group!), girls and boys, women and men, there was just an absolute buzz and excitement all around. Everyone was in such a good mood, it was really infectious and uplifting. There was chat about the other contestants, pretty much all of it complimentary, but sooner or later (usually sooner) all conversations turned back to Joe and how brilliant he was. I sort of expected it from the girls but there was a big group of boys aged about 10 who were all teasing each other and joking around but were loving Joe. And as someone mentioned above (apologies for not being able to ‘quote’ yet), several men who had obviously been persuaded to go along by their daughters (or their wives LOL) talking about what a brilliant singer and performer Joe is and how he owned the stage.

Even now, several days later, I can still feel that buzz coming back as I write this post. It really was palpable and I was amazed that it just kept going and going. Two hours after the concert people were still talking about him on my train. So I was thinking, if Syco and Modest Management want to know what an amazing impact Joe’s having, maybe they need to get some of their people onto the trams and buses and trains around the tour venues!

Sorry to have gone on a bit but I’ve been bottling this up for nearly a week! So relieved to have finally shared it with you!

Thank you jonsmile for posting that.  Joe most certainly is the 'ultimate professional' and the review from that person reflects most certainly the truth in the statement.  It's wonderful to know that Joe is doing so well, but it's nothing more than I expected - he has everything that boy!  Can you just imagine what his solo tour is going to be like - out of this world I would imagine!

I think it is amazing that Joe does appeal to such a wide audience, people of all ages, genders, walks of life etc.  This really proves what an amazing artist Joe is, and how much his voice touches people.
