Anyone Into Classical Music on this Forum?

Are any members of this forum into classical music at all? I thought the new series of Pop Star to Opera Star was absolutely brilliant. It made people realise how beautiful and moving Opera can be and also how difficult to perform. The pop stars were fantastic, in my opinion, and I thought Darius did really well finally to win something
My favourite classical pianist of this generation has to be Evgeny Kissin - I guess many of you may never have heard of him? Well, some people are born genius's and he is one of them for sure - unique in every way - including his quirkiness

I love Il Divo and Celtic Thunder/Woman. But the hottest is Josh Groban, come on that curly hair is so cute.

Did you watch Dancing on Ice last night? Katherine Jenkins performed the song Love Never Dies, accompanied by Andrew Lloyd Webber at the piano, the song is from his latest musical of the same title. She sang it beautifully. Torvill and Dean made it extra special by skating so wonderfully around them during it.

I have just come across this article which shows Katherine Jenkins in a completely new light. It's an interesting read:
"Operastar to popstar: Katherine Jenkins vamps up strait-laced image with dazzling circus show fit for Madonna"
