Here is where I have been:

Greece - Rhodes (3 times) and Corfu (2 times)
Malta (once)
Spain (once)
Portugal (6th time this year)
France (once)
USA (7 times, 13 states visited)

Where I have been in the USA
New York City
New Jersey
Pennsylvania (Philly + Poconos)
Delware (shopping centre)
Maryland (drove through it)
Washington DC
Georgia (Atlanta airport)
Florida (Disney and Ft Laurdale)
Texas (Houston Airport)
Nevada (Viva Las Vegas)
Illinois (Chicago)

I seem to have travelled alot lol.

Last year holiday was the best, flew from Heathrow to JFK(NYC), Met up with mum friend, drove down to NJ, stayed over night, drove down to Washington DC for 2days, came back up to NJ, did some washing, left for poconos mountain range in PA for a week, then went to Philly (ran up the rocky stairs and had a philly cheese steak), went to nyc, flew home. All that in 16 days

One of my favourite holidays was in Mallorca December 2008 with my sister who was celebrating her birthday.  We are both Rafael Nadal fans so we decided, on my sister's actual birthday, to hire a private chauffeur to take us halfway across the island to meet Rafa personally at his training courts in Manacor .  We 'phoned the reception first to make sure he would be there (which he was luckily), watched him practise (boy was that a pleasure at close quarters) and then met the man himself.  Haha!!  My sister nearly passed out when he hugged her and gave her a Birthday Kiss!  You can just imagine though, can't you, we spent the whole holiday afterwards talking about that one experience.  Just about everyone in the hotel knew about "the two ladies who are Rafafanatics" and the waiters teased us the entire time afterwards until the day we left.  It was really a brilliant holiday  Cheesy

The first time i went abroad was when i was in 2008, it was with school for a history trip, so we went to Belgium and France to look at some of the WW1 landmarks like Tyne Cot Cemetery and Beaumont Hamel. Also to the In Flanders Fields Museum in Ypres. i really enjoyed it and its something that will stick with me forever seeing the amount of graves and the trenches really touched me.

Oh Susiej what a wonderfull vacation that mustve been! It sounds like so much fun! I cant remember the exact list of countries I have been to but I have been to:

Holland (duh)
Brittain
United States
Indonesia
Singapore
Germany
Belgium
France
Greece
Spain
Canada
Turkey
Egypt
Chezch republic
Thailand
Austria
Italy
Malaysia
Luxembourg
Bulgaria

I would still like to go to Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, China and Japan.. there are more but those are at the top of my list! :-)

My all time favourite holiday was a working holiday where we had to work most of  the time. We went to the Northern Arizona University in the States for a month to make a television show which was just awesome. It aired with the potential of 25 mill viewers (that many people could receive it) and we had lots of fun. We went to Sedona, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and it was just fantastic. we were with 40 students having fun each night and every evening we went to the cinema and every day after school we went shopping.. we had diner together and it was just fantastic. <3

This is always something I have wanted to do and not got around to yet.  The first World War was the most tragic thing that happened to mankind.  Men going 'over the top' in their thousands to instant death.  Horrific.  What for?  Just to gain a few yards of land.  In my opinion it was the most futile of wars.  Harry Patch, the last surviving "Tommie" (last combat soldier) died last year so an era has past, but we really must never forget as we all owe our lives to these brave men who saved us all from the hands of living in tyranny.  They said it was the 'war to end all wars'  Huh if only - - - 1939 2nd World War - will man ever learn I wonder.  I guess the answer is no.

My goodness Jaiden, you've certainly been busy - all those countries visited and you so young!!  How wonderful.  The working holidays are usually the most adventurous and it's always a learning curve for life I feel  Smiley

the rest of my holidays have just been in England, Dorset and Whitby only because im obsessed with fossil hunting, it has to be my favorite hobby and would love to have a job in that area, so i only let my family take to those places lol.

but this year im going to Iceland for a geology field trip, so we get to look at volcanoes and rocks.

Ah, yes the Jurassic Coast Word Heritage Site?  It's England's first natural World Heritage Site too, and not too far away from where I live, which is Devon.  Dorset being just along the coastline from me.  You are right, absolutely stunning and full of interest.  The area's records show 185 million years of the Earth's natural history - amazing!

But AJ the UK has some wonderful places for holidays too.  I have always said there is never a need to leave this country it has so many beautiful areas.  Devon, Cornwall, Lake District, Scottish Highlands, too many to list here.  The one and only problem is our weather - otherwise I don't feel we would bother about visiting parched dry scorched areas abroad.
