I was quite shocked when it said:

"Did I buy it? No I didn't."

I'm sure I saw it that Olly was 100% backing Joe and hoping that he would get Christmas Number One - it's not much support if he didn't even buy it?!

Just plain rude. Its quite clear the song doesn't fit Olly's voice.But no need to be so rude about it. That's if he even said it

He knows it's not a boring ballad, he's just saying it, coz he thought he had it in the bag with winning coz of the ladies. But 61.3% to 38.7% shows a lot! He's just jealous, thats all.

Yeah we all know The Climb wasn't really Olly's style but I am sure he would have been acting like he loved the song if he won.  It is just sour grapes.

Olly must have said this, as it is an interview in G.A.Y times.  It is very unsupportive and I do too remember Olly saying he was going to buy the song and wanted Joe to be number 1, I am sure Joe would have supported Olly if it was the other way around. x

Might have been taken out of context and twisted. its a very selective quote and could just be a few words from an over all quote.

It confuses me, I've always liked Olly, and even when Ive met him he's been lovely, but I'm surprised he would say that, surely he'd at least encourage people to buy it or show Joe some support.

Well I heard that Olly's sister actually brought the RATM record and was telling all Olly's fans to do the same.  Now that is very unsupportive, I am sure Joe's family wouldn't have done the same.

Joe won X factor, he deserved to win, and Olly is just jealous because the winners single was a ballad and his voice wasn't good enough for it. He probably thought it was unfair, but that is no reason to insult Joe and he is just being childish to get himself in the media spotlight again. You would never hear Joe saying anything like that.

well it may well be, but he obviously said something that the media picked up on.

Exactly, Joe never says anything bad that the media can take out of context. So whether or not he said it like that, he obviously told them he didn't buy it, which isn't supportive, when he was saying he really wanted Joe to get to number 1.
