I just had to do the worse thing i have doon in my life gosh it was so sad i am so emotional i am writing this 10 minutes after being back from putting her to sleep

she was such a nice dog never rough she would always be there and should would enjoy her life she has never bitten anyone and would never do anything to hurt anyone she was a big part of the family and we have all grown to love her so much i loved her she was the best dog in the world no doubt, she is not a naughty dog she would sometimes have her moments but she always knew that we could never hate her.

I never thought the day would come where we had to finish here sweet life but nothing lasts for ever i guess i didn’t expect her to last forever but evan tho she is gone we will never forget about her our first ever dog she is somewhat special of corse we have all grown to love her like she is one of our own, she is and always will be.

We got her when she was 3 didn’t realy know much of her then it was this breeder that gave her to us i remember her being young like it was yesterday all thos tennis balls that she used to chew up there would be mess all over the house but she was always a laugh she would always make you happy no matter what she still did that, ive been with her for 9 years of her life and they were all great years.  

When we took her to the vets she was very calm but almost did know what was going on we took her in this room and she calmed down its almost like she accepted what was happing and fought it was the best so she i gave her some kisses and my mum was very emotional i tried to keep my emotions in and it was very hard, the vet came in with a fluffy rug and put it on the table then she was so clam very good behaved then the vet shaved of her fur of her leg and she just had no fear so my mum was hugging her then i was crying by this time i had to let my emotions out my mum was in tears with her.

She was giving my mum ver nice kisses as the needle pierced her skin i looked at it and look at billie as she kissed my mum she slowerly started to sink down then to a lying down position by that time we knew she was gone it all happened so fast alot to take in we sat with her for 10 minutes just stroking her he skin felt un realy it was like touching a block of ice cold and not alive, this was realy hard to write but i guess in a couple of weeks we will realize it was the best thing for her she was 14 years old a amazing age we loved her for ever.

Oh dear Connor.  It is alway so sad when an animal has to be put to sleep and I feel very sad about this for you.  A pet is always an integral part of any family and treated likewise with love and affection.  I am sure Billie James Ferguson is resting in peace wherever he is now and looking down on you thinking "what's that young man up to now?"  From what you have written he went really peacefully.  Try not to get too down about it, he is out of pain now and that's about the only positive aspect anyone can take in this kind of situation. I am really sorry to hear your sad news.  Thinking about you

That's a really sad story Connor.
I couldn't imagine having to put any of my cats down and I've not had them long. Must've been so hard with you growing up with her. At least you have a lot of happy memories with her. ):
