Simon Cowell's Haiti song featuring Leona Lewis and Mariah Carey, has become the fastest-selling charity single this century.
The Official Charts Company said the record has topped the 200,000 sales mark in just two days.
The star-studded cover of Everybody Hurts is also on course to have one of the biggest first week sales of any single since 2000.
All proceeds will go to helping the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

'Charity fatigue'
The proceeds will be split between the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and The Sun's Helping Haiti campaign.
REM, who recorded the original song in 1992, are waiving royalties to the track, while the government has said it will not collect VAT on the record.
A whole host of stars signed up to sing on the record, including Robbie Williams, Take That, Mika, Rod Stewart, JLS and Susan Boyle.
Martin Talbot, managing director of the Official Charts Company, said: "This is a phenomenal achievement.
"The public are certainly not showing any signs of charity fatigue."
Everybody Hurts was made available as a download on Sunday and is expected hit number one.
The video, which was released earlier this week, features footage of the song's vocalists in the recording studio, intercut with images of the aftermath of the devastating earthquake.
The magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti in mid-January, killing more than 150,000 people.

Last night it was the final of the Greek X-Factor and they showed the videoclip of this song during the show.
The presenter said that the single is breaking records. I don't know if it will be availiable for downloading here though.

That's good. I hope people buy it here too.
As for the winner of the show, I have said it before, my favourite never wins. Joe was the only exception and he remained the only exception lol. A cute boy with a good voice won, as most of the times happens. I was supporting a band, they came 3rd.

Νο. I think only in the UK version of the show there is a winner's single. In addition, people here don't buy singles anymore so it would not be very profitable for Sony.

I hope that they will download the charity single legally though.

Its a great cause.. I still feel gutted when I see the news and realise what horror it must be to live there right now They really need so much money for the next years.

indeed. it is only right that they are stopped and the Haiti charity single sells a huge amount of copies.
