What made you all wont to join, Joe McElderry unofficial website and what did you like about Joe and why did you become a fan.

My answer why i joined would be= i saw Joe in the semi final and i thought well i have been supporting Joe since his first audition and i have to show my dedication to him,  this was the first site up so i joined this one.

My answer for why did i become a fan= well i intently fell in love with Joe from his first audition and his voice, his ascent, his shirt it was all perfect and i thought this guy is going to go far.

Your answer does not have to be something long it can be short if you want.

I joined this site the day after the first live show i think, i just googled his name and this site came up & now i love it here x

well, I became a fan of Joe because I think he is really talented and was by far the best on the X factor this year.  Every week he gave excellent performances and never sang one note out of tune throughout the whole of the series. He also sang songs that I really liked, so I enjoyed his performances every week.

I decided to join this site because I wanted to talk to other Joe fans, and this site has a really nice friendly community, so I thought it was something I would like to be part of.

I liked Joe from the moment I saw his audition on youtube channel. For me it was hard to catch up with what was happening at bootcamp and further...cause for a non-UK I was not able to watch the vids on the original XFactor site.

From liveshow 1, it was easier for me to follow and I became more and more fan of Joe, he was just amazing and so sweet, adorable and absolutely charming... and that voice!

I googled his name and this site came up. First I just read what was going on, but did not register until a week later or so.
I did register then, because I really liked what was going on, real Joe supporters, really nice people , a real Joe-community.

and I still love it here...

When he auditioned I was pretty much still on a Stacey-hype, because I saw her at McDonalds a few weeks earlier so I was telling anyone who'd listen the story and I lost focus on the episode. Then Joe came on and I remember being in a conversation on MSN with people and just going absolutely crazy for him! haha. I didn't watch Bootcamp so I missed him there but when it came down to Judges houses I had a feeling he wouldn't make it through for some reason....cause at that point he wasn't really the front runner and it felt like he was heard but not seen much. I think it was the night before the first live show, I watched his audition again and I've been horribly obsessed ever since. It feels weird to say you've supported him right from the very start, but I'm just so proud of him!

Oh yeah, I don't remember how I came across this site....I think it was on Digital Spy because I remember reading a thread for contestant Twitters and a Joe one was posted (which was fake) and I went into another thread and someone had posted the link. When I registered there was only like 4 regular members! Me, Rachel, Liz and Shannon just posted pretty much everywhere and we had like 1,000 posts between us after the first week! LOL then more and more people started visting and it just blew up one day and now its this huuuge community.

Time for an unnecissarily long story.
Well I when I first saw Joe's audition I knew that he would definitely get far. He was definitely one of my favourites, but with the whole long auditions process it's hard to remember who you liked. Watching the show I was pleased to see him get through each stage. When he went to judge's houses he was definitely my favourites of the boys and knew he would get through. It wasn't to the live finals that I went from just supporting him on X factor to actually being a fan. In a series that seemed to be more about gimmicks (Jeward), inflated egos (Danyl) and the judges, Joe just seemed to come out and give a great performance each week with no fuss, and I really liked that. After I spent the better part of one night talking to my friend about how we both loved Joe, you could say I was pretty much a die-hard fan.

I found this site a few weeks into the live finals, but didn't want to join as I feared it might feul a somewhat unhealthy obsession, so I was content with just lurking. Though after he won and how proud I was I really felt I wanted to join a Joe forum at which point I joined the official one. But when all the troll drama was too much and all the boards here became hidden so i couldn't lurk anymore, I decided to finally join up here. Plus I knew Mark was on here after speaking to him a lot on the official one.
I like this place, the official forum was too hectic/annoying, the community is much tighter here, so I stayed here forgetting about the other forum.
