Joe McElderry is planning on hitting the gym in 2010, because he wants to bulk up. The X Factor winner won't be releasing his debut album for almost a year, and when the time comes he wants a whole new look. Not only that, but on the advice of his mentor Cheryl Cole, Joe is also looking into getting his teeth fixed or wearing a brace. "Cheryl tells me I need to eat more," Joe told us. "She says I'm too skinny - everyone does. I need to bulk up. And I'd like to get a brace and get my teeth sorted." Just think, girls, next time you see Joe he could have a body that puts Marvin from JLS to shame. Maybe... Do you think Joe should bulk up, or do you like him just the way he is?

I'm pretty sure, judging by the pic of him getting massaged that his body is mighty fine anyway. I don't want him to be to ripped like Aston, yuck! that's just too much, and if he dares change his teeth! He doesn't need a brace, his teeth are perfect the way they are!

I think there's like 1 tooth on the left hand side, that's an incisor that sticks out like a centimetre more than it should LOL so if he gets that 1 tooth fixed then okay LOL but I don't want him to have absolutely straight teeth, that will make him fake, as much as I like Zac Efron, the foundation and eyeliner is certainly not the look for Joe! LOL x X

Same! Luckily, we know the type of guy Joe is, and I know he won't let people strip him off for photoshoots, give him a couple of years before that lol. I mean I woudn't complain like, LOL but right now it's about his music not his oh so muscly body! X x

im sure they wont go too over the top with joe.  i think the teeth need to be fixed, but cheryl probably wants him to bulk up and get a good body to win over more fans and get more people to fancy/like him, which he doesnt even need to do! because he has got the personality, the look, the voice!!

There was a video on the XF site from the final where Joe was getting dressed and Cheryl walked up to talk to him and he had his shirt unbuttoned, so she probably has seen it! LOL

Yes - he is a little slim - but personally I like little guys.  Doesn't he know that he will bulk up in time anyway?  He's only 18 for goodness sake.    I don't think JLS are too over the top - so I reckon it's a good place for Joe to start on his "new look".  Just as long as he doesn't go "podgy" on us - like that video of him when he was last in Austria - singing in the snow.  Eeeeeeeek!!  

I've been doing screen caps all morning for some wallpapers of Joe that I'm making - and find his facial features so gorgeous - I'm finding it hard to concentrate.  I keep going all d r e a m y (hence my name!)

He won X Factor, has a number one single and has a vast fanbase of really loyal fans - all without having any changes done to his appearance.

So about the saying, "If it ain't broke...don't fix it!"
